She hasn't touched her dog food, but I think that's because she's holding out for chicken. Guess what? That's going to stop after today!
So, life can go on and hopefully, I can think of some happier things to blog about.
Once again, I want to thank all the supportive people out there on the World Wide Web for their thoughts, prayers, suggestions, and for just being here. And thanks to Cliff for springing for $200 for the veterinary and for putting up with the atmosphere of gloom and doom around here. He wisely spent most of his time in the shop while this was going on.
I'm so thankful that she is so much better. It's still ok to spoil her...after all you went through these past few days it still would be nice to give her a little special tlc. I know you must feel relieved to say the least. You have jump started my day with a ***BIG SMILE***. Thank the dear Lord for His many blessings. 'On Ya'-ma
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear this report on Sadie. I went to bed earlier last night so I didn't see that report.I have been wondering if maybe she had got into some poison somehow. Maybe some rat poison some neighbors put out. Thank God for prayers being answered, vets helping out and antibiotics kicking in.

ReplyDeleteI am so glad she is doing better.
ReplyDeleteam so glad! monk is barking her approval at this post, & i'm shouting "ty Jesus".
ReplyDeletehope she conts to get better & better.
just don't let her over do for the next few days, make her take things in stride. i know it's hard, she wants to run & play, & you want her too, but keep it to a minimum.
as for the chicken, starting tomorrow (if she's cont to eat & do well), just grind a little bit & mix in with half her normal kibbles. then each day...decrease the chicken. in about 3 days she should be weaned back. i've had to do this MANY times over the yrs. ;)
bless you all.
yahhhhhh!!!! I am so happy that Sadie is doing so well...the meds and TLC did the trick...and glad Cliff has the "shop" to retreat too...I would have been a basket case for sure....and like you say..you never know what they will get into....sometimes Max comes in and stinks to the high heavens...and has to have a bath...I don't wanna know where he has been...but hate there is something that stinky in my back yard LOLOL....happy blessed day to you all...hugs...Ora
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Sadie is perking up a bit! Now if we can get my cat to do the same. She didn't even eat the Cheeto we left out for her, so I know *something* is wrong.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it a great country (world) where so many people woke up this morning thinking about a sick doggie in Missouri. I mknow thats why I turned on this puter in the middle of my cleaning day.
ReplyDeleteYea Sadie!!!!
ReplyDeleteYippee!! Here's to many more years of love and companionship with Sadie. :o)

ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful news. I hope you, Cliff & Sadie have a peaceful, relaxing weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo very glad she is better. It this returns I would check on her dog food. So many of them have been tainted with various poisons; usually from China. There is a website that you check all of the dog foods. Anne
