Cliff's next-door sister, Rena, got a job she likes just fine, but she was working three twelve-hour days. She wouldn't have minded that so much, but the three days fell on the weekend. That pretty much left her out of the loop with friends and family, since the whole world has weekends off.
This week she switched to four ten-hour days, Monday through Thursday; so she works the same days as Cliff, only he works evenings. She's thrilled about her shift change.
We still go get her Doxie, Angel, when we go for our walk in the pasture. Angel loves the outing, but she's often distracted by some smell or other, and follows her nose away from time to time.
Someone mentioned in a KC blog that KMBC TV, channel nine, has a local spot to upload videos. I signed up on their website just to see how it works.
I took a very short video on our walk today; turn down your sound, because the wind noise is awful and I forgot to edit it out.
Hi, It is so pretty today! We had to go to Lee's Summit for Nancy to see her lupus specialist today. It is suppose to get cold by tomorrow! We will really feel it after the nice weather.
ReplyDeleteWe are sure enjoying Kelly suv, it is a 2001 but new to us!! It is so nice to be able not to have to beg rides ! But everyone was really good about taking us places! Love and hugs Grams
We've had high winds since last night bringing in a cold front. Supposed to go down to 28 tonight.
ReplyDeleteAngel is so low to the ground that it's good it's grassy and not muddy where you're walking.
'On Ya'-ma
I love that little Angel! I got a little dog like that when I was 3yrs old...and she died when I was 15! Loved my little Weiner doggie.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your videos. Wished it was longer.
Have a good night.
Our winds have died down today and now we have spring like weather again only a bit chillier than before. Look how happy the puppies are to be taking a walk!!
ReplyDeleteNice to hear your voice Donna.
Lisa
It looks like a nice day despite the strong wind.
ReplyDeleteI would love to work 4-day 10-hr job. It leaves so much time for personal things to do at home and with family.
Love the life-style there... not as fast-paced and materialistic as we do here.
Enjoy your weekend!
Really like that video. Both dogs look like they are having such a good time! I would love to have a Doxie Dog, they are so cute. Cats rule around here though, hubby doesn't like dogs. :o(
ReplyDeleteJesse's 'weekend' is M,T,W - but we rather like it. Nobody else is out and about on those days...and since the kids are homeschooled, it works out pretty well...
