In 2004 I accompanied my granddaughter, Amber, to Van's Warped Tour. A 100-degree day of punk-rock, and of being the only person there over 60, I believe. It was fun, and I went again the next year. I'd go again except my knees don't like standing on concrete for that long.
Nobody's going to show that young man their boobage. I mean, he isn't even tossing out any beads in return. Who the heck exposes themselves without the promise of shiny baubles and trinkets? Who, I ask you??!!??
Get a travel chair of some sort and sit it down the front, when they get in your way tell 'em to move or use a stick to scare the disrespectful ones off lol
I had to stop back by after the comment that you left on my post about my picture tying into yours because MCR was at THIS concert. Don't you just love things like that? When the randomness of the world just seems a little less, well - random!
Thanks for stopping by! I'll think of you when I'm getting my ear drums blown out in May!
And he looks so proud, too, as if that paint is COOL or something. LOL!
My brother's getting married in August and I've been asked to be a bridesmaid. I was teasing the future SIL that I'm going to get a midriff baring dress and paint "CONGRATS ERIC AND MARCELLA" on my belly and make the words dance all through the ceremony...
That is so funny! You are so cool to go with your granddaughter. Where was this taken? The kid on the far left in the blue t-shirt looks just like my nephew Jason.
Thanks for your comment on my WW too. Have a great day!
I think that is fabulous that you went. Way to go YOU! Although I just became a Grandmother to two (they call me Meme), I hope I am still rocking enough to accompany them as well. Great photo. Happy WW and thank you for visiting mine.
