The herb garden

Someone asked how my herb garden is doing.

Click on the image to make it larger. I'll plant more chives outside, once it's time, because there are only about five plants; that's not enough. There are only three sage plants, but if I remember correctly from my childhood, sage grows pretty big. Three plants may be plenty.

I'm so glad to see it is growing for you! The chives will grow and spread out too. We had a couple little plants we planted outside and now they seem to be everywhere. Things that weather over the winter and come back again outside are my favorites. Our Oregano bush is quite big too. The sage did well for a couple of winters, but didn't come back last year. Thanks for sharing your garden in doors.
A little bit of spring right there in your house! 'On ya' -ma

They are really growing. You might have giant plants before time to plant them outside. Helen

The last time I grew from seeds in the house, they got too leggy. So I will just buy what I can at a garden center. I am planning on adding sage this year because I didn't grow any last year. I still hae frozen thyme, rosemary and chives in my freezer from last summer.
