The re-blooming day lilies are still going strong.
The coneflowers are alive with butterflies.
Lots of bees, too.
There are still blackberries ripening, but I'm not making any more pies. Cliff and I don't need pie.
When we take our walks in the woods, we have to be careful or we'll walk right into a spider's web.
It's a lovely time of year, is summer.
The vine above the spider's web looks like a snake.
ReplyDeleteI even had a spider web at my back door this morning when I went out for my morning walk. I know there is some kind of weather lore pertaining to those webs, I think it is that there will be fine weather but not sure. Now I'll have to look it up. Hope you enjoy those berries without the pie crust anyway. Have a great Thursday!
ReplyDeleteI learned that that first butterfly of yours is a Red Admiral.
