My parents swore by this saying

"If it rains on Easter Sunday, there will be rain for the following seven Sundays."

No, it doesn't always work. But it's worked out enough times, or close to it, that I'm concerned about the weather forecast for this Sunday.

I'd rather have too much rain, though, than too little.

  3. Mine swore by: "straighten up or die right". We never really knew what it meant, but it meant we'd better straighten up purty darn quick!

off-topic, but it was all I could think of :)

  4. Think it is supposed to rain here Sunday. I think everyone would be willing to give up dinner on the ground and the Easter egg hunt in the cemetary. lol
