About that Mac I was going to buy

Both my desktop and my laptop are functioning fine right now, thank you very much.

I know, however, that the time is short for both of them.

I had been thinking of replacing both of them with Macs, when the time comes.

Ain't gonna happen. OK, maybe the laptop, when the old one dies. But not my main computer.

When I realized I could buy four PCs for the price of one Apple Mac, I knew what I'd choose.

Now if I ever win the lottery... watch out! I'll have both.

  1. A Mac is the best computer ever! The price is higher but you will fall in love! We had our first mac for 10 years until we upgraded.

  2. I've been considering a Mac as well. Don't know if we will be able to swing it. Laptop is the only one we will replace. Hmmmmm. Hitting the lottery is a good idea. Blessings, Penny

  3. Don't worry, Mom. If I win the lottery, *I'll* buy you a Mac. Once you've had Mac, you'll never go back.

  4. People who buy macs always rave about them but the prices clearly are not set to make them attractive to everyone. I am typing this on 400-dollar laptop. It's not a mac but I still have the other 1200 bucks.

  5. Precise-a-mundo.

Add to that the positively SNOTTY attitude of every Apple/Mac sale or "support" person I've ever talked to and you know why there'll never be a Mac in my house.

  6. I guess the dream of what we'd do when we win the lottery is one we all have for sure.

  7. Dollar for dollar Macs are a superior value. Just the operating system alone is worth the difference in price. My Intel Mac will run Windows and I have to run it for some work I do for a lawyer. When I switch it's like going from a drag racer to an ox cart. Don't be fooled by the new PC commercials... they're not comparing products with the same specifications.... on purpose you know.

  8. Sorry, forgot one of the most important differences between Macs and PCs
PCs, running Windows, arrive at your house with the barn door open... you have to stand in it or hire something to stand in it to keep people out. Macs, running OS 10, arrive at your house with the barn door closed... and you can just stay in the hot tub!!!!
