Good for them and good for you. I think the couple I saw were just passing through. Maybe they were headed to your place. It's been around a week since I saw them. Helen
Every once in a while in late summer my neighbor's butterfly bushes attract hummingbirds. I'm determined this year to get a good photo of one... very difficult, but not impossible.... you know how quick the little birds are.
Although it has been spring for a while now, I didn't consider it to be spring until recently when I finally saw my first hummingbird of the season. Yea! It was a Ruby-throated Hummingbird.
Hooray!
ReplyDeleteOurs came back a week ago last Thursday....knocked on the window and shouted..."where's the food!"
ReplyDeleteEnjoy them....LindaMay

ReplyDeleteGlad your humming birds are back again. They are strange and interesting creatures. I love how they can hover. It's like they're part bee.
