So many people love to put Kansas City down; and yes, I know she has seen better days.
But if you thought all the beauty was gone from our fair metro area, you need to check out Hyperblogal.
Thank God for folks who find beauty where others find ashes.
Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.
Gosh Donna.... thanks so much. We do love our neighborhood over here and while we certainly have our problems we are blessed to have wonderful things to look at, enjoy and to share with others.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Kansas so I wouldn't know anything about it. I know people put Texas down too and they haven't been to the right part at the right time. The hill country is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI went over there...beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteI've only been through KC once and that was just because I was lost. Apparently I missed some great stuff!
ReplyDeleteI've been to most of the continental US and find most of it beautiful, but East, West, home is best! I am in Kansas City most days inspecting old houses. They make me sad to see what they are now, compared to what they were.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to KC, but will someday and will remember your thoughts! Take care,
ReplyDeleteKatie
I've never been to Kansas City and know nothing against it, so would never dream of putting it down! lol Love those pictures, and I'm going to have to add Hyperblogal's blog to my list of ones to check out.
