stuff

The dwarf lilac bush I planted last summer is blooming its little heart out. It's right beside the front porch, and the smell is divine!

Wednesday a friend's son came out to hunt for morels. I really figured it was getting too late in the season, but he got a nice mess of them, and they were fresh and in good shape.

On another note, are you in need of something chocolate? Free, even?

  1. Good for you with the lilac bush. It's got to be a great joy to have it blooming so close to you. I can't make a cactus grow, so I'm envious. But do enjoy it much.

I love my lilac bush. My parents planted it before I was born & they took pictures of me as a small child playing by it. I could smell the lilacs last night when we were on the porch.

Every time I read about your morels I think of your rude morel stealers, in almost a funny way, the cameras & all. ~Mary
