AOL journals close down officially tomorrow. Thanks to a little help from our friends, many of us have been able to transfer our AOL journals to Blogger.
To my J-land buddies, I'm passing along a link from Sugar (I call her Sister Sugar because she's a preacher lady, and because she sent so many supportive voices to my AOL site when I was hurting... both when Cliff had heart surgery, and also when my Mandy died on the highway.
Sugar is pretty much house-bound, but she certainly plays a big part in the lives of all of us who are needing a shoulder to lean on.
Thanks, Sugar.
The link is here: Our Beloved Pets
Here's the link to her main blog: Sugar Shack
Believe me, if you ever need a word of support in hard times, Sister Sugar will be there.
She lives only forty miles away, but so far we've not met in person.
TY for posting the link dear one, & for the kind words.
ReplyDeleteGod bless...
Sugar sure makes pretty tags too.
ReplyDeleteI can remember crying for my dead pets since I was little. We had birds, cats, monitor lizard, two lambs, chicken and recently hamsters.
ReplyDeleteIt will hurt every time a pet dies, but as some bloggers made me realize, the years spent together will always be worth than the sorrow of parting.
I believe that is very true.
2008 has been one of the most difficult years I've had in a LONG time. Without the support of the wonderful 'bloggy' friends I've been blessed with, it would've been even more difficult. Friendships, no matter WHAT form they come to us, are one of life's richest blessings.
