A most delightful storm

Thunder and lightning preceded the rain we're having now, making me anticipate the storm that was approaching. I lose our Dish-TV signal during rainstorms, but that's OK. It's worth it. I do love rain.

Sadie doesn't deal well with storms, and seeks a snug cave in which to hide. So I removed my guitar from under the baby bed behind me to allow her to curl up there... although she isn't normally allowed in that space. I'll vacuum tomorrow to remove the dog hair. It's the least I can do, to make up for poisoning her Saturday.

  4. Gordo runs out in the rain prancing like a damn fool. LOL Of course, if would figure that the furriest (smelliest) one would love the rain, right?

  7. Sadie is still a young dog and she may adjust to them eventually. Send some of that rain out west, we could sure enjoy a nice rainstorm.

  8. Had to go over to see what happened to Sadie. I'm sure you felt so bad but I know how miserable those fleas can be.Seems like fall is the worse time for them. Thanks to you we all know not to use that brand now.

  9. Poor baby! And I know you didn't mean to be funny, but Ms. Donna your way with words just cracks me up anyway ("it's the least I could do for poisoning her on Saturday.")

  10. Sadie is so fortunate to have a master like you.

Yes. I love the rain too even though I am a sunny-day person. Staying indoors together with family is always nice.

  13. I love the rain and storms too... well mild ones anyhow. LOL. I can do without the tv too... life is so busy with children and work that I don't get much tv time anyhow. I'm loving being here in Kentucky with the great outdoors and all the opportunities to garden and enjoy the great outdoors and the four seasons. Hugs,
    Lisa

  16. Sadie makes me think of our Patches hiding when the national guards practice shooting bombs or loud guns off of some sort pretty close to our house. I get sorry for her. She shakes all over when this happens. Helen
