I'm nervous at this point, six days away from Rachel's surgery. If I'm nervous, I KNOW she has to be. At her request, Cliff and I will not be at the hospital during the surgery, but we will pay her a visit that evening, accompanied by her daughters. She will come home the day after surgery.
You can read her latest update HERE.
It is scary, but it will go well!! If someone has cancer and they can do surgery, it's a positive sign. (my husband's cancer is inoperable, so that tells you something) Hang in there!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI can understand you being nervous but you all have such a good attitude I think all will go well.
ReplyDeleteHugs ~
ReplyDeleteI would be nervous too. Cancer just doesn't affect the one that has it but the whole family. I'm still praying and will continue to do so.
ReplyDeleteKeeping all of my fingers crossed!
ReplyDeletePrayers for Rachel.
ReplyDeleteYou all will be in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteI've been following your posts about Rachel, but I've been at a loss for words. I hope she has the best possible outcome and a speedy recovery. I will say...I can't believe they are sending her home the next day! That seems crazy soon to me. *hugs* to you and the fam.
ReplyDeleteI know you will all be glad when the surgery is over. I'm sure everything will go well!
