So, how do you like the picture on my header?

I loved the picture that was there for so long, of Cliff on the tractor; but I wanted a change.  I wanted something that would portray the bleakness of this time of year.  I stuck a picture of Bonnie and her son on for awhile, but it didn't really fit.
This morning when Cliff and I headed out for our walk, I slipped the camera in my pocket.
"I need to find a wintery picture for my header," I told him.
I got three that were satisfactory; the one you see up above, and two where you can see our house in the distance.  I'll probably use those later on.  Iris is in all of them.  I planned it that way because she softens the bleakness a little.
When you look at the picture above, you can see the river bottoms where I used to ride Blue so often.  The hills in the far distance are on the other side of the Missouri River.
Cliff and I walk past that scene every day; it's fun to see how the seasons change the view.

I have a picture of a similar view on your property. It is pretty picturesque.

Very nice picture for your header! Iris looks like she wants you to hurry up and keep walking. :o) I liked the one of Cliff on the tractor too but it is fun to change them. I wish I was able to do that with mine, I can't change the picture myself I have to have my designer (niece) do it or I mess the whole template up.

That is one cool capture Donna! I did always love the picture of your hubby on the tractor, it was like you signature header. This header is a gorgeous winter country shot with a very cute black and white subject. I think I see a smile on her face!

Maybe that you will inspire me to get out with my picture taker and get some picture takin done :)

I like it. And the word "bleak" didn't even occur to me when I first saw it.

Everything looks green there compared to here. Nice picture but I liked the one of Cliff too.
