This blog is getting a lot more hits lately; I suspect it's people checking in to see if there's a calf born yet. The answer is no, but I can assure you the calf is alive and trying to kick mommy's sides out. And that's all I have to report.
I've been checking a couple times a day :)) Oh, the waiting game - how fun...but exciting also. Do you check her in the night? There's a theory here in WY, at least with the beef cattle, that if you feed in the evening 90% of the time they will calve in the day - I tried it with my sheep - doesn't work with them :(
