Yard art... seen at the Iowa tractor show

Cliff and I were amazed at these objects of art made from all sorts of pieces of scrap metal. We were also amazed at the asking price for this human-scale piece: over $2,000.

However, I suppose if I'd created this thing, I'd want a good price for it.

This was my favorite, and was a lot cheaper than the others. Not cheap, I say. Just cheaper.

I'm sorry I cut off this little fellow's extended eyeballs.

Stay tuned tomorrow for a history of Maytag washing machines.

  1. I love to look at this type art. Reminds me of the metal mexican musicians we pass on the way to church. The one with the guitar is still on his back and it is still driving me crazy.
