Wildlife camera

The grandson received a wildlife camera for Christmas and carefully placed it in our woods in an area he thought deer might be abundant.  Unfortunately, his first effort succeeded only in giving him pictures of passing trains.  So he moved it.  This time he met with success.

A fox!

A deer!

Two Deer!

I put the pictures on Flickr so I could share them, and of course our favorite photographer got in on the act.  He sent me an email with a picture that he had doctored up, saying, "Maybe this is what happened to the cattle."

All joking aside, I can't wait to see what (or who) shows up on the camera when morel season arrives.

It has been suggested that the problem with comments is that some of you have your popup blocker enabled.  Could be, although I have mine enabled and I can comment.  Anyhow, I fixed it so the comments aren't in a popup window.  If you were having trouble before, please try leaving a comment now and let me know if there is any change.

  4. Loved that alien fox pic. That was almost scarier than the lions!
