morning visitor

It wasn't even fully daylight this morning when this little hummingbird showed up on my front porch.

This isn't my first hummingbird of the year, by the way; the first one was much smaller. So it was probably a male.

I do believe she's a camera-hog. She would take a sip of necter, then buzz around and look at me; take another sip, buzz around and look at me again. What a ham.

Thank you for sharing your morning miracle. It is amazing that those tiny little things can fly so far. I love to watch them. We have the feeders out and ready for them but haven't seen any here in Ohio yet.

I know how excited you were to see your first hummingbird. I saw my first one on Monday afternoon. He/She was really small. I love watching those little things. I hope you're having a great day. I love your feeder.
Hugs,
Pat
