This so brings back memories of our states devastating ice storm in 1998. We had massive destruction and HUGE insurance claims, it almost put the insu*rance industry under. We were out of our home for about a week due to no power. Thankfully the horses were at the stable at the time but they didn't have city water so had to come to my house several times a day to get water. I hope we don't get it again here!!!!! You be careful not to slip on the ice and hurt your knee again!!!!
I'd say lovely, but I did the storm of what was it--2002??? without power for five days. And the great October Snow before that. Seven days. I know others have longer power outages than that, but I tell you I'm one day is two for most in Staceyland! xo
looks like Connecticut. we've had two ice storms and another one coming.

ReplyDeleteScenes like this are the best part of winter.
ReplyDeleteThat ice is as unforgiving as it is heavy, but it sure is pretty! That first shot could be straight out of Narnia!
