Silly comment troubles
Well, I found out I didn't enjoy having to approve every single comment. Now I've changed the settings so that only comments made on posts over three days old will be moderated. Here's what's pathetic: It wasn't five minutes after I opened up comments again before I got a spam comment! It was on an older one, and of course I rejected it. I think this will work better for me, and it should still be problem-free for my readers.

When I first started on blogger I had my settings set to approve. It didn't take long for me to check back into the settings and fix that LOL. Helen
ReplyDeleteI got my first spam comment a couple weeks ago. I deleted it and hopefully don't get any more. It's too bad that there is always someone out there to spoil things for everyone else. Grrrrrrrrr......

ReplyDeleteI wonder how they know when you change the way your readers can leave comments. I'm sorry if my comment about the word verification has caused you so many problems with spam.
ReplyDeleteI have noticed that those spamers do seem to leave comments in the older posts too. I'm still leaving mine show as I approve them. I'd hate for someone to have to read that filth they try and put through.

ReplyDeleteI didn't have any problem with typing in misc. letters. If I didn't get it right the first time, I did the 2nd time.
