My daughter posted the above words on Facebook, along with an interesting link that tells me that Sesame Street as it was forty years ago is no longer appropriate for children. Now I've heard everything.
In honor of Sesame Street's birthday, I'm posting my very favorite video from the show, back when my little girl used to watch it.
Love it!! I absolutely LOVE the old Sesame Street! It changed a lot just about the time that Eler Beth grew out of it, though, and it isn't as good as it used to be.
I loved it and so did my children. My goodness what wouldn't be appropriate??
ReplyDeleteMy daughter used to love to watch that also. Helen
ReplyDeleteI still love Sesame Street, and I have you to thank for that. It's changing, but it's still Sesame Street. I'm just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteOh, for pity's sake! Now the world is politically correct-i-sizing "Seasame Street" as well as everything else?!
ReplyDeleteHey, LOVED your comment...you were the only one who understood what I was trying to say!
