I have no discomfort unless I accidentally bump the burned area. For that, I am thankful.
Because of the antibiotic I'm taking, I'm not supposed to be in the sun for long periods of time; but I was going to wear a long-sleeved shirt and my straw hat and use sun block for the tractor drive.
Cliff paid in advance for both of us to go today. The price included a T-shirt (at least I'll get that) and a meal right here in my town at the park. He rode about fifteen miles to the Mayview picnic alone. From there on, he'll be with the whole group accompanied by patrolmen, so it'll be a lot safer. I told him to call me when he arrived at Mayview, just so I could stop worrying. He did.
While I was on the front porch watching him leave, the hummingbirds were in camera range and I took a picture.
Kinda neat, eh?
I love the hummingbird pic. Sorry you couldn't go with dad.
ReplyDeleteI love hummingbirds!! They are magical to me. So sorry about the burn giving you trouble. Do the docs have any idea how long it will take for them to heal?
ReplyDeleteMargaret, I didn't ask the doctors, but Google tells me it's ten days to two weeks.
ReplyDeleteI love hummingbirds. Sorry you have to miss going with Cliff. The pictures & blog would of been great.

ReplyDeleteThat's too bad that you weren't able to go on the tractor drive. :(
