Hen and chickens in action

Notice how Mother Hen's voice and manner of speaking changes when she calls her kids to eat.  I am SO enjoying this family!

    This makes me want to have chickens. However, there is a rooster behind me in the housing development (near to my bedroom window) and I am NOT enjoying him!
