Why statistics are sometimes meaningless

I just read an excellent post by Robbyn on her (and her husband's) experiences with job loss, cutting back, and making do. This tells a great deal about why statistics never tell the whole story. I wish she could be on the evening news telling her personal story. Not that it would do any good, but at least we'd hear a different slant on things.

  1. That's a real eye opener. Very sad how things are manipulated!

  2. Thanks, Donna! I'm guessing our experience is not so different than most people's. I'd love to hear feedback...so often all those statistics seem to appy to everyone else but us ;-)
