Strange sight in the rain

Granddaughter Natalie and I saw something in the yard at noon today that made us both laugh out loud and sent me running for the camera.

It's a monster!!!

Oh, wait. It's Cliff in shorts and work shoes with a trash bag over his head to keep from getting soaked in the rain.

He had to laugh when he realized he was being photographed. Bless his heart, he puts up with a lot of humiliation, being married to a blogger.

  1. That is just a hoot! Yes, Cliff is a good sport, these blogger husbands put up with a lot! I'm always having my hub slow down in the car so that I can get a picture of something! That's nice that Sadie has a playmate, what a cute little dog. I wish my house was further back from the street, like another 1000 feet!

  2. Cliff cracks me up! That looked like our family touring the Botanical Gardens in St. Louis on our last day there a few years back. We were DETERMINED to see the gardens. We had a blast and were able to have the WHOLE ENTIRE place to ourselves. LOL
Tell Cliff he should have been a fashion designer.

  3. I thought Cliff looked like a California raisin. His legs are cuter, though. ;o)

We're having thunderstorms and some much needed rain right now. We dropped from a high of 97 down to 66 after a thunderstorm earlier this evening. Much better!

But...we had 44 kids inside for recreation and snacks at our church VBS tonight. Whew! Mercy!

Good luck getting some dry weather so you can get the rest of the hay in.

  7. Giggle! I remember back in high school, I went looking for the school janitor to ask for a trash bag. I had a long way home via 2 busses and it had started POURING toward the end of the school day. The trash bag method works! LOL
