Surgery tomorrow

Cliff is feeling pretty darned good.  He did the nuclear stress test on the treadmill today and passed with flying colors.
Tomorrow at 12:30 he will have the Laparoscopic Gallbladder surgery; it will take from thirty minutes to an hour.  Thursday morning he comes home.
His worst problem now is that he still can only have clear liquids, and he is STARVING.  However, they don't want to run any risk of getting that gallbladder inflamed again, so starve he must.
This is just a quickie to keep friends updated.

  1. I had my gallbladder removed years ago. It was a piece of cake so tell Cliff he'll be just fine.

  2. Tell Cliff the first meal I had after getting my gallbladder removed was PORK CHOPS in the hospital. That's what they served me. Couldn't eat them so my husband did. Nobody could believe that was the menu they put me on. GOOD LUCK tomorrow with surgery.

  3. Donna, I had to come and see what was going on. I have already begun the praying for Cliff (and you). Tell 'im the blog staff is all over this one and we wish him well. It's encouraging to hear how quickly he gets to come home. I'm sorry he is having to go through this and I'm sure not eating is the worst part. ha. Will be keeping up with you.

  4. So glad he'll have the surgery so he can feel better. My dad had gall bladder surgery before all the advances and it wasn't a fun recovery. Cliff will do great!! Then you can feed him LOTS of goodies afterward. Much love and good wishes! xoxo
