My Kansas City Russian friend has a different perspective from most of us, having grown up in the Soviet Union. And you know what? I'm starting to pay more attention to what he has to say.

Other than local school bond issues, I may not be voting any more. What does it really matter?
Yes, what does it matter, those higher ups are going to do just what they want to do reguardless of what we the people want.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't vote, you essentially "double" the power of someone voting in favor of elected officials who support this crap. That's what they want. Overwhelm the public, create apathy and steamroll the Constitution.
ReplyDeleteNot me. I ain't going without a fight.
I too am frequently tempted to stay home from the "booth" but then I remember all those who have gone before who fought to gain or retain our right to vote... and realize I must go.
