Daily Steals

I blame the Oregon Guy for getting me hooked on Daily Steals. It's one of the first sites I check when I come to the computer in the morning.
So far, although I've seen some excellent buys, they haven't offered anything I've needed.
That didn't stop me from buying a couple of things, though.
Both things I've bought were free. I've always had a problem resisting freebies, even when there's a $5.99 shipping fee, which I suppose makes the items "not free".
I didn't need these things; I just wanted to play with them.

This is my favorite toy.
I didn't tell Cliff about my purchase; I figured I'd just wait until it arrived, and show him, rather than tell him. So my package came, I checked it out, and I was delighted with it; still, I was afraid Cliff might not share my enthusiasm, so I waited for just the right time to amaze him with my shopping savvy.

Isn't this the cutest little pair of scissors you ever saw in your life? Now I'll admit, they'd be awkward to use; but who knows, there just might be a time when this would be a lifesaver... or not.

OK, but you know there are times when you need a flashlight and there's none available. How about this? You have to admit this could come in handy.

How many times have you been away from home and said to yourself, "I could really use a tiny little saw right now"?
As it happens, Cliff got a kick out of my "free" thingie; I guess he figured $5.99 wasn't so much to pay for a few laughs.
I do have this amazing item tucked away in my purse, because you just never know when it might be useful... if only I can remember that I have it with me, when the time comes.

I think I'm going to like this

That guy in Oregon alerted his readers to Daily Steals. I've bookmarked the website. You might want to do the same. Each day they offer a really good buy on a low-priced product. Check it out.
While I'm at it, I'd like to recommend "The Roanoke Cop", an honest blog that I discovered on the sidebar of Tango's blog, which I discovered while perusing the Oregon guy's blog. Does it never end?
