What a wonderful world!

Cliff, his sister Rena, me and the two dogs walk every morning on our property; while there are drawbacks to where we walk (heavy dew that soaks our shoes if we wear them, for one thing). Because some of our paths through the wooded areas are fairly narrow and bordered by trees on either side, we encounter lots of cobwebs. I usually walk in front and break the webs... sometimes with a stick, sometimes with my body when I don't see the cobweb coming.

Before I broke through this one, I had to take a picture of it with the dew glistening on it.

I rode this morning; I arrived at our town's little park in time to see the sun coming up; I could tell it was going to be one of the most beautiful sunrises I'd ever seen.

Ah yes. The sunrise above the lake at the park.

Wow.

As always, click on any picture to see it larger.

  1. What a beautful sunrise! God sure paints a beautful picture for us when He wants to! Nice picture of the spider web too, I think they are so pretty but don't like walking right into one like I did this morning! Yikes!

  3. How pretty. :-) I hate it when I break webs on my face. I'm never sure if there is a spider on my check or stuck in my hair...

  4. Lovely shots. Those spider webs can turn up just about anywhere, can't they?

  5. Cool spider web! I usually ended up having coffee at work since the hubby doesn't drink it. I only make it at home if we have guests.
