Wordless Wednesday... Whoa!

This is about a mile from my house. I ride my horse through here at least a couple of times a week. I guess he's going to need swimming lessons now. Click on the picture to see it bigger.

  8. We live on high ground so it wasn't so bad for us, but boy did the water run and run.

The horse I used to have hated to get his feet wet & so JUMPED every puddle. He would have had a cow if he saw that.

    What a picture.

  10. Oh my goodness! I hope everyone is safe.

(My mom is jealous of your horse! She has to be content with dressage lessons once a week.)

  13. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I remember the flood of 1993. My mom had taken my 2 girls to visit my brother in KC and they got stuck at his house for nearly two weeks because Interstate 80 in Iowa was closed in a lot of places due to flooding. Keep dry!

  16. Oh wow!!! I'm assuming it's not that bad at your place, since you didn't mention it. I hope not and I will pray that the rain stops.

How much of Colorado are you wanting to explore? I know you were asking where are nice places to ride in Colorado. Are you heading more west? Sounds like a nice ride.

Thanks for coming by and have a Happy Wednesday :)
