Wordless Wednesday... Whoa!
This is about a mile from my house. I ride my horse through here at least a couple of times a week. I guess he's going to need swimming lessons now. Click on the picture to see it bigger. For other Wordless Wednesdays, click HERE.
Wow--you got a lot of rain!
ReplyDeleteJust too much rain. Make it go somewhere else(not here)
ReplyDeleteNice picture, I like the reflections.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the flooding. I hope it dries up soon. Mother Nature has a wicked streak.
ReplyDeleteI like the Waterloo sign and the horse ears! Neat photo!
ReplyDeletePoor people living there...hope it'll end soon.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteWe live on high ground so it wasn't so bad for us, but boy did the water run and run.
ReplyDeleteThe horse I used to have hated to get his feet wet & so JUMPED every puddle. He would have had a cow if he saw that.
What a picture.
was this a recent flood? oh my!!! hope all's well!!! thanks for sharing this photo with all of us!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I hope everyone is safe.
ReplyDelete(My mom is jealous of your horse! She has to be content with dressage lessons once a week.)
I eel for the people living there. Does this happen often to them?
ReplyDeleteIngrid, this was taken yesterday. dragonheart, everyone is safe; they had plenty of warning. Shaz, the last time this happened was the flood of '93.
ReplyDeleteThanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I remember the flood of 1993. My mom had taken my 2 girls to visit my brother in KC and they got stuck at his house for nearly two weeks because Interstate 80 in Iowa was closed in a lot of places due to flooding. Keep dry!
ReplyDeleteMJ
I heard about the flooding. :(
ReplyDeleteLove the street sign! Glad to know everyone is safe.
ReplyDeleteOh wow!!! I'm assuming it's not that bad at your place, since you didn't mention it. I hope not and I will pray that the rain stops.
ReplyDeleteHow much of Colorado are you wanting to explore? I know you were asking where are nice places to ride in Colorado. Are you heading more west? Sounds like a nice ride.
Thanks for coming by and have a Happy Wednesday :)
