What a thoughtful thing to do.

I received this letter from the University of Missouri; click on it to see it better, or press ctrl/+ to make it larger.

I have to admit it made me teary-eyed to read it.  But what a sweet thing for our veterinary clinic to do.

Good grief, it just hit me this morning that I was putting my address on here for the world to see; now that approximately 150 people will be able to go to Google maps and find me, I've blocked out the address... which was slightly wrong, by the way.  But not wrong enough!

I agree very nice and he didn't have to. I would send a bag of dogfood or something to his clinic.

Meesha, that would be lovely; but since the clinic received almost $400 from me in 8 days time, I really can't afford it. Not that I am complaining. But I think they have been sufficiently paid. What I might do is send them a note telling them how much the donation in Sadie's name meant to me.

That was a wonderful gesture from your vet, and I think a nice card expressing your gratitude would be great, and a perfect gesture!

that was indeed a lovely (& thoughtful thing for them to do). of all the pets i've lost over the yrs, only had 1 vet clinic (in mansfield tx,) that did that in memory of a dear pet (rascal). it does warm the heart & bring a tear to the eye when you get that in the mail, i know. wish more would follow suit!

Nice of the vet clinic. We were sent a very lovely "plaque" of sorts with Moose's paw print on it and his name on it. Still makes me cry.
