However, it has held my interest so far. I have to watch now, because I want to see how the main character turns out! Cliff probably wouldn't watch it if it were up to him; he says it's "too slow". Oh, and he said Roots isn't nearly as good as he thought it was in the 70's. Now it seems dated, old-fashioned. So we watched the first episode, and that's all. I told Cliff what you said about the book, so he's going to read it next, if it's available at the library.
Donna. I believe I would have bought that too. I understand your need to just take a ride and walk around a bit. Isn't it funny how we appreciate things like Dollar General so much more now? It is one of those rare books, and the only fiction book, that I actually have read multiple times and enjoy reading it for the 5th time as much as I did the 1st time. It is truly a masterpiece.

I am currently searching for my next binge watching endeavor and have heard good things about the Queen's Gambit. What say you? I tried watching the third season of Cobra Kai after having watched the first two seasons last year just because I grew up among the Karate Kid franchise. But the acting just isn't doing it for me and I don't think I will finish it. Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13214319366049620074noreply@blogger.com
