It's that way for me with writers I love. Funny but I never, ever read a book twice. Just feel it's a waste of time, I'd rather get a new one. I have to tell you that dogs really can get into some nasty smelling stuff out there. But I must say the story about the farts made me chuckle, particularly about sitting on the vent and circulating them. oh dear, you poor things. In fact I read it twice! I can relate to Cliff and oh my word, I could SMELL Gabe!! *haha* Thank you for the great read today, my friend. ~Andrea xoxo PS~ I distinctly remember seeing the word "Follett" on one of the books on our floor-to-ceiling book shelf in the living room. Now I'm going to have to check it out as that author's name doesn't ring a bell. I have stuck with it ever since. So Ken Follett wasn't on my radar though he does have one non-fiction work at least about Ross Perot's secret mission to free some employees from an Iranian prison. Since I actually remember those events, faintly after all these years, I placed a copy on order.

As a former dog owner, I can't remember how many times I've been in that position where it was either kill the dog or bathe him. A lot. Way too many. It was usually due to skunks or rolling in dead animals and not burnt up packages from the burn barrel though.

I thought my first and last football game of the season was kind of a dud. The Chief offense apparently didn't eat any Wheaties before the game because their front line was like a pasta strainer trying to hold back water. Poor Mahomes probably ran more yards than his wide receivers.Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13214319366049620074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36183952.post-51074068533376176062021-02-08T19:29:48.656-06:002021-02-08T19:29:48.656-06:00No, I went out early with two paper towels in hand...No, I went out early with two paper towels in hand, because I didn't want to touch anything that smelled so bad, and I threw it back onto the trash barrel... in the middle of the thing where nothing could reach it.Donna. KC won last year, but I like Mahomes. John and I cheered mostly for good plays--which unfortunately, were mostly on the TB side. Their defense was punishing.
