You know I used to live in a neighborhood, so my neighbors were in fact really and truly next door. I know too well about that trash blowing. I have to go out back and make the rounds to pick up pieces of plastic, foam plates, and I have been picking up pieces of phonebook for months. You see, their german shepard and that jack russell terrier tear things up in that yard and then it blows over here. I am so afraid one of my emus is going to eat some foam or plastic and its going to kill them. Spent all that money on a fence and it still doesnt block out everything. :( I hope you got that nap in. Most of the time they freeze out. Our oregano is in the ground permanently as well as chives and they are now up and growing and come back every spring. Cilantro I think is like basil and won't tolerate the frost.
