I'd been chased by roosters before, but this was substantially bigger and he scared me quite a bit. The domestic variety of turkey may not be so bright, but the wild turkey does OK.Leilani Schuck Weatheringtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04517660684870960794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36183952.post-53485192443940776972012-11-23T08:54:54.670-06:002012-11-23T08:54:54.670-06:00Yeah, I've wondered often how the 'turkey&...Yeah, I've wondered often how the 'turkey' made it to this point. Having family all together for the holidays is a wonderful thing. It was just Will and me this year, at home, mashing potatoes and checking the thermometer in the turkey. Still it was a nice day and he enjoyed himself, eating the fixin's, and watching football. Couldn't ask for more .. . Glad you all had a good Thanksgiving. Ours family will get together tomorrow. I doubt there will be any leftovers, but if they are the kids always fill up containers and take them home with them. Your soup sounds very good. Hopefully I'll be making some too.I'm mostly known as 'MA'https://www.blogger.com/profile/12107548726472541669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36183952.post-87296835040328381972012-11-23T06:32:30.030-06:002012-11-23T06:32:30.030-06:00Don't toss those leftovers!
