(or once there) It is awe inspiring to see the world come awake. My focus is usually on the sound and the light. There is a point where owls can be heard, rustling of the trees. As the light gets brighter, chirps can be heard, squirrels begin to jump from tree to tree. And eventually the birds break into song. At night it can be just as mesmerizing as the day quietens. On a humid or rainy night, which I like the best, the stream can be heard out back, the frogs croak. Nature is lovely when we stop to pay attention. I've been noticing the clouds more and more since I have to drive in and drive home - seeing the sunrises and sunsets a lot. I do get up at 5:40 in time to get ready and head out the door to walk with my neighbor and we have been seeing a Doe and her tiny, tiny fawn each morning. So cute. I love the Bible verses too that you put on. Yes, His mercies are new every morning and boy do I need them each day!
