I think you're right that the rainy weather has something to do with it; they quickly learn that they don't like going out when it's wet or snowy and that it's simpler to find a private spot inside the house. I really liked your sermon example. I wonder how he got a whole sermon out of that one verse. Some interesting facts about Benaiah: He was one of David's "Mighty Men" (You're quite mighty, yourself); he struck down two of Moab's mightiest warriors; he descended into a water pit to slay a lion (didn't dig it himself, though); he overcame exceptional odds to slay an Egyptian giant with the victim's own spear; David put him in charge of his personal bodyguard; he headed two groups who remained loyal to David during the rebellions of Absalom and Adonijah; he was appointed over the third rotation of the army, a force of 24,000 men; when David had grown old, the two groups of forces he was over supported David in the coronation of Solomon; under Solomon's rule he was assigned to carry out the execution of the rebellious Adonijah, Joab, and Shimei, and; he was put in command of the army by Solomon. So he was, by all accounts, a loyal servant of David and of God, and is probably written in God's Book of Remembrance. :)Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08506026496063245730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36183952.post-43149675651185166812017-10-08T14:08:49.189-05:002017-10-08T14:08:49.189-05:00Yogurt mixed with his chow will help!Yogurt mixed with his chow will help!Galla Creekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15765021266883258286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36183952.post-28301265260566019622017-10-07T20:33:41.475-05:002017-10-07T20:33:41.475-05:00People and pets are a trial, but they are worth it...People and pets are a trial, but they are worth it for the love they give. Venting about messes to clean up is normal too. :) I complain about cat hair, but I do love the sweet girl, and her affection has made a huge difference in my life.Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17197599882756386184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36183952.post-56297128208093089192017-10-07T08:51:25.538-05:002017-10-07T08:51:25.538-05:00Oh my!
